Join the Department of Public Works for the Combined Sewer Overflow Control Plan meeting on April 3, 7:00 p.m. at City Hall, Polite Council Chambers, 120 N Duke Street, Lancaster, PA. Come learn how the City of Lancaster has reduced combined sewer overflows (when untreated wastewater goes into the Conestoga River during heavy rain events) through the implementation of green infrastructure and other facility improvements, and hear what's next to continue the progress. At this meeting, staff will share information about the City’s compliance with the U.S. EPA Consent Decree and the development of the City’s Long Term Control Plan to minimize the impact of combined sewer overflows on the Conestoga River.
