Combination Wheel & Hand Building Workshop (6 Weeks)

This 6-week introductory wheel and hand-building course is ideal for studens who want to learn about all aspects of pottery.
The first 3 weeks begin with wedging clay and then throwing, centering, and pulling up the clay on the potters wheel
the last 2 weeks focus on handbuilding techniques: Coiling, pinching, slab, carving, and texturing to create surface decoration
The last course is glaze class. You will get to glaze your own pots!!
By the end of your course, you might have 6 functional pots.
