About this Event
Meet the group led, Jacqui, at Sandown Road crossing on the Comber Greenway at 09.30 to get started.
You can access the greenway by Sandown Road crossing.
We will focus on litter picking, cutting back overhanging greenery, sweeping and scrapping back overgrown path edges to ensure that the clear width of the path is available for all users of the greenway.
If you have your own gloves and secateurs, loppers please bring them for you to use. We will provide long handles tools and some hand tools along with hi vis for the group. If you have your own gloves and secateurs, loppers please bring them for you to use.
This task day is open to adults and young people, such as Duke of Ed [accompanied by a parent or guardian]. There are 5 places available and pre-booking is encouraged.
This task day happens generally, on the first Saturday of the month.

Sustrans don't own the Comber Greenway NCN route 99, it is owned by the Department of Infrastructure and maintained by local Councils, the Department and local volunteers. The Network encourages people to walk and cycle more for everyday journeys.
Please note that in the event of adverse weather such a storms, heavy snowfall or low temperatures causing icy conditions the event will be cancelled.
