Throughout the year, Columbus Songwriters Association will review hundreds of songs submissions by songwriters across the city. These submissions will be curated for a panel and audience to select to perform at the Columbus Songwriter Awards.
On Saturday, December 7th, the Columbus Songwriters Association will invite 15 Columbus Songwriters to perform for a $100, $250, and $500 cash prize.
How It Works:
CSA's panel of published and/or award winning songwriters will hold a 50% weight in the final decision. Their live feedback will be provided in front of a captive audience that also contributes to the final decision: 25 audience members who have a songwriting and/or musical background will be selected and invited to attend. The audience will determine 25% of the final decision through rubric and written feedback. Last but not least, the songwriters themselves will place 2 votes to support the final decision, which will influence the final 25% of the cash prize awards.
