The Missouri Prairie Foundation will hold a native plant sale on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the MU Bradford Research Center, 4968 S. Rangeline Rd., Columbia, MO 65201 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.Native plants beautify landscapes and help support songbirds and other cherished wildlife. Buy native wildflowers, grasses, shrubs, trees, vines, and sedges from Grow Native! professional members. Some vendors accept cash, check, or credit cards; some only cash or checks.
Vendors: Gaylena’s Garden, Missouri Wildflowers Nursery, Ozark Soul Native Plants, Hawthorn Chapter of MONPS, Grindstone Wildflowers (SunRise Gardens), and Prairie Hill Farm.
Shoppers can stroll through the sale and purchase plants from each vendor. Shoppers can also pre-order plants and have their orders ready for pick up at the event. The following vendors are accepting pre-orders. When placing your pre-orders, please include your phone number and note that the order is for the Bradford Research Center sale on April 12:
Missouri Wildflowers Nursery- Order by calling 573-496-3492, by email at [email protected], or online http://mowildflowers.net/. See http://mowildflowers.net for a plant list. Orders must be placed no later than midnight on April 8.
Ozark Soul Native Plants- Order via website (preferred):https://preorder.ozarksoul.com or phone: 816-809-4062. Please visit https://ozarksoul.com/availability for current availability. Pre-order by Wednesday, April 9 at 5pm.
Some vendors accept cash, check, or credit cards; some only cash or checks. Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own crates or boxes for transporting their purchased plants home. Volunteers will be available to load plants into vehicles for those needing assistance.
