The Columbia Heights Fire Department will host its annual Fire Prevention Open House on Sat, Oct 12, from 11 am to 2 pm as part of National Fire Prevention Week, Oct 6-12. This year's Fire Prevention Week campaign is “Smoke alarms: Make them work for you!™” This campaign strives to educate everyone about the importance of having working smoke alarms in the home.
To promote fire safety, the Columbia Heights Fire Department invites you to the Public Safety Building's fire station on Sat, Oct 12. Kids, young and old, can spray a real fire hose, meet dalmatians, watch a fire demonstration, meet local firefighters, and more!
