Colours of Motherhood Relationships: Overcoming sibling rivalry and peer conflict

With the right support, sibling and peer rivalry provides your children with the opportunity to learn peaceful conflict resolution skills and to build loving relationships with family members and peers! In this session, you’ll learn strategies to reduce sibling rivalry in your home and how to provide your children with life skills so they can get along with family, friends and peers.
Join Dr Rosina McAlpine, parenting and family wellbeing expert and creator of the Win Win Parenting program as she explores:

● Research findings on sibling and peer relationships.
● Planning ahead for a new baby sibling to ease the transition.
● Major changes when the baby arrives.

This event is designed for parents of children aged toddler to teenager. By attending this session, parents and carers will have a better understanding of sibling rivalry and peer conflict and ways to support their children to collaborate rather than compete and manage conflict more peacefully.
