Discover the magic of autumn with a weekend of hiking and history in the most remote region of the Valencian Community – Rincón de Ademuz. Surrounded by the mountains of Teruel and Cuenca, this land of rivers and forests offers the perfect backdrop for a colourful autumn escape. We will start our adventure on Saturday morning, meeting in Valencia and driving together to Ademuz. There, we will enjoy our first hike along the Río Bohilgues, a beautiful riverside trail that takes us through lush forests, small waterfalls, and an area of great botanical importance. After the hike, we will head to La Albacara, the rural house located inside the medieval castle of Moya, where we will check in, enjoy dinner, and spend the night in this unique historic setting.
On Sunday, after breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to the village of Tormón to hike the spectacular Estrechos del Ebrón. This trail follows the course of the river through a dramatic gorge, crossing hanging walkways and bridges while surrounded by striking autumn colours. In the afternoon, we will return to Valencia, arriving around 18:00.
