Working in a mixture of acrylic paints and mixed media you will begin to understand how to mix colours to make signature palettes and get inspired to try new, exciting combinations of colours, materials, and methods that will take your artwork and imagination further.
Using contemporary and traditional artists as inspiration , we will explore how colour plays a key role in developing and extending personal works of art. Find the colour combinations that will bring your artwork back to life , alongside ways to create your own colour library for further reference.
Develop ideas on how to create your own decorative collage papers, allowing a greater exploration of artistic play.
Simple techniques for mixing compelling colour palettes will be explored , giving you the confidence to try out new combinations and push past that fear of the white blank page.
This workshop is suitable for all levels of creatives.
