Trish Trinrud and her husband moved to Portage in 1977 and were teachers until their retirement. Trish began making fabric canvases in 2020 when COVID-19 left most of us locked down, and she needed something to occupy her time. Trinrud uses contrasting colors as it appear more abstract. She uses bright colors because they bring smiles and joy to those who observe them.
