The PRCA Exceptional Rodeo is coming to the Colorado State Fair on Monday, August 25th, at 9:30am. The PRCA Exceptional Rodeo is a mock and adaptive rodeo experience for children with special needs. Children get to experience these fun activities right in the middle of the same arena where the professional cowboys and cowboys participate in rodeo! The kids will do stick-horse barrel racing, ride stuffed bucking bulls and bronc horses, and rope fake calves and steers. Each child will receive an Exceptional Rodeo t-shirt, a cowboy hat, and a trophy.
The Exceptional Rodeo is designed for youth ages 4 to 12 to be the participants, because of the size of the obstacles, but individuals of all ages are welcome.
