Class Description: Many artists are intimidated by color, and many artists are intimidated by watercolor. This class will focus on both of those subjects, using watercolor to teach color theory. You will learn the color wheel, how to make color palettes, understand warm and cool colors, what tint's, tones and shades are as well as how to push colors forwards and backwards. Watercolor will be the medium we use as it has a fantastic ability to be transparent, allowing for the layering of colors. You will learn watercolor basics in addition to color theory with this course.
