RSVP here: https://events.iu.edu/artmuseum/event/1863145-color-drawing-and-painting-workshopDevelop and enhance your drawing and painting skills, using artwork in the museum’s collection as inspiration.
This workshop starts in the galleries, for preliminary drawings, and then moves into the artmaking studio, where we’ll add the dimension of color.
We’ll emphasize the fundamental skills of drawing and build onto those skills by learning about color theory. We’ll then apply that new knowledge to a variety of color media, including watercolors.
This workshop is recommended for ages 12 and up. Anyone under 18, who is not an IU student, must be accompanied by an adult.
