Give your pup a splash of color and capture unforgettable memories! What is Holi Powder?
Holi powder is a safe, cornstarch-based powder traditionally used in the Indian Festival of Colors. It’s non-toxic, pet-safe, and creates a stunning burst of rainbow hues when tossed into the air. During the session, we’ll apply the powder directly to your dog’s scruff and along their spine, where it’s most visible in photos, then capture magical action shots as the color bursts around them.
What to Expect:
Please dress in clothes you don’t mind getting dusty.
Bring an extra sheet or blanket to protect your car on the ride home (powder can cling a little).
We’ll blow off all pups after their session, but some color may linger in their coat until their next bath.
Dogs must have excellent recall. If not, a long line will be used to ensure safety during off-leash photos.
Expect lots of fun, laughter, and vibrant images of your dog in action!
Safety & Suitability:
Powder is pet-safe, but sessions are best for dogs who are comfortable with new sights, sounds, and getting a little messy.
Not recommended for dogs with respiratory issues or very senior pups who may stress easily.
Dogs must be friendly with people and other dogs. (Reactive dogs may book a private session.)
What to Bring:
Collar/harness + leash
Water & towel for after the session
Treats or a favorite toy for attention-getting
What You’ll Receive:
A 15-minute mini photo session at the park
3 professionally edited, high-resolution digital images (with the option to purchase more)
Memories that are guaranteed to stand out from any other photoshoot!
