This year marks the ninth annual ColoniAle festival at the Tate House Museum in the historic Stroudwater neighborhood. In recognition of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, this year’s program will focus on TAVERNS and their importance in the politics and lives of New England residents. Period-dressed docents will tell visitors about local colonial-era taverns while highlighting the food and drinks they served. Don’t miss this fun event at Tate House, the place where history and patriotism meet! ColoniAle features a one-hour house tour followed by social time in the backyard where you will be gifted with a Tate House pint glass and 2 pints of Mast Landing ale. Mast Landing Brewing is the generous sponsor of our event and is providing guests with their signature ale. Imbibing is encouraged!!!
Tours are on the hour at 3:00 and 4:00 PM with a social hour following from 4:00- 6:00 PM. General admission is $30 and $20 for Tate House Museum members. For tickets visit tatehouse.org
