About this Event
High-energy, progressive classes made for people interested in learning about Cali Style Salsa. We will work with the most popular Colombian Salsa songs, breaking down every single hit of the music to teach you how to play and interpret these hits with your body. We will learn and practice technique from the basic Cali-style steps to more advanced patterns. No partner required!
Beginner: Tuesdays 8:00pm - 9:00 pm (April 9, 16, 23, 30)
Intermediate/advanced: Thursdays 8:00pm - 9:00 pm (April 11, 18, 25, May 2)
*4-week Tuesday and 4-week Thursday sessions must be registered for separately
Cost: $80/4 week session; $25 drop-in
These workshops are led by Shaka Dancer - 3x World Champion in Salsa and Bachata and Cirque Du Soleil Choreographer.
