You might also go for some local parade already - especially if you can't join us for the one in Rodenkirchen on Sunday (" Cologne Carnival 2025 - SUN 02 Mar 2025, DAY - Rodenkirchen" - ☞!ⒻⒾⓃⒹ ⒶⓁⓁ ⒸⓈ&ⒻⒷ-ⓁⒾⓃⓀⓈ ⒷⒺⓁⓄⓌ!☜!). The ones closest to our flat are the ones in in Riehl starting at 14:30 and (a bit further away) Ossendorf starting at 14:30 - but there are also several others in other districts all over the town:

This night we'll party on on "Friesenstraße" [ FreezenStrusser ] (see Directions below!):
Cologne's main party mile where all the people go who've (very often just recently) finished their studies and/or make their own money already and thus one of the most favorite regions for the "still young" people in general to party in pubs and traditional brewing houses and fancy clubs and bars. Not that that really matters when everybody is wearing a costume and all of the places play mostly Cologne Carnival music anyways😉
We will be at the Jameson Irish Pub ( https://goo.gl/maps/3b5xdE8oJdhdVAG96 ) for most of the night! It's one of the largest places here, has a nice outdoors area AND YET there's usually no problem getting in with (for the last few years) comparatively little entrance fee which includes the first drink!
YET some might also try to get into the (in)famous "KleinKöln" ( https://goo.gl/maps/AuPw9BdrKodJJ9ST7 - google it!) or even more "hip" places like Heising & Adelmann ( https://goo.gl/maps/uu5wLbuM2MbCxsJW7 ) - though there is definitely gonna be a long(er) queue and higher entrance fees to get in there!!!
NO IDEA how long we're gonna stay there or when we'll be home - can be 2, 3, 4am!

HOW AND WHERE CAN "LATERCOMERS" MEET US ON SATURDAY:^
Nothing planned really before 20:00.
So you have all day to go to your host's place to drop off your stuff with him OR - if you can't or don't wanna do that - store your stuff at main station (see "G: HYPER MODERN LOCKERS SYSTEM AT COLOGNE MAIN STATION (KÖLN HAUPTBAHNHOF/HBF)" on the Main Event Page "Cologne Carnival 2025 - THU 27 Feb -> TUE 04 Mar" - ☞!ⒻⒾⓃⒹ ⒶⓁⓁ ⒸⓈ&ⒻⒷ-ⓁⒾⓃⓀⓈ ⒷⒺⓁⓄⓌ!☜!) and then contact (anyone of) us to find out where we are...
From Dom/HBF take #5 towards Butzweiler Hof and get off after 2 stops already at FRIESENPLATZ. From the underground stop take the exit to "FriesenSTRAßE". From there cross that little square with the Starbucks, then "Wilma Wunder" before next the "Enchilada" Mexican restaurant - all to your left - to get to the corner of Friesenwall leading to the left and the Friesenstraße going straight on ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/oozqHyuLhsVu7EsP9 )!
Although we'll most probably be at Jameson Irish Pub ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/yxqBbdKTNDhGZaY99 - NEVER MIND google map's blue dots line's idiotic square detour at the end - you can just walk down Friesenstraße till Jameson's to your left) - simply because it's the biggest pub on Friesenstraße.
You should still contact "us" to find out where we are, for we might also be at "KleinKöln" ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/3N55CGdvGjRd2BW27 ) almost opposite the Irish Pub - a(n in)famous pub, recommended in most tourist guides!!! Or one of the many other clubs and bars in that area...
So at least some of us you should find at the Jameson at any time that night. But still in order to find out where we are, try and contact anyone of us first - THOUGH getting hold of one of us might be tricky and take a while...
Try the WhatsApp group and/or check the posts and discussion threads on the EVENT PAGES AND (if you can) CHECK THE DESCRIPTION HERE AGAIN FOR ANY LAST-MINUTE UPDATES (that I might even add after the "event started") BEFORE YOU COME TO JOIN US!

If you stored your stuff at main station's automatic locker machines, then you can always pick it up at night when you go home. THAT WILL BE MOST PROBABLY AFTER MIDNIGHT - so IF YOU CANNOT use the automatic locker machines but have to use the "Gepäckcenter" counter at the Douglas perfumery instead, then also consider bringing your stuff to some other place for at that counter you can only pick it up the next morning...
