To celebrate and support what we think will be the first ever beer and cider festival at the Three Horseshoes in Smallford, we're embarking on a three-pub rural trail finishing there, on Saturday 3rd May.Meeting at the excellent Crooked Billet in Colney Heath, we'll then walk approx 20 minutes to The Plough in Sleapshyde for a refreshment stop-off there, before walking a further 15 minutes to the Three Horseshoes.
If you're starting from St Albans City Centre, you can get a 305 bus to Colney Heath from St Peter's Street at 1202. And from the Three Horseshoes there are regular buses towards St Albans or Hatfield.

1330: The Plough, Sleapshyde
1430: Beer festival at The Three Horseshoes, Smallford
