About this Event
Join us for a walking tour of the Colman Dock Multimodal Terminal and Marion Street Pedestrian Bridge led by Washington State Ferries and SDOT project teams. Washington State Ferries Colman Dock project won this year’s WTS Puget Sound 2024 Innovative Transportation Solution Award. These new facilities together serve a vital mobility hub on Seattle’s transformed waterfront and provide seismically-sound, ADA-accessible multimodal connections for 9 million riders per year. The Marion Street Pedestrian Bridge offers an essential pedestrian connection between downtown Seattle and Colman Dock. With nearly 5 million users annually, the bridge is one of the busiest pedestrian bridges on the west coast and provides a safe, direct walk path that offers breathtaking view over the new waterfront. Come learn more about the two iconic projects from agency staff and consultants. After the tour, we’re heading to at Dead Line bar nearby for a happy hour. The happy hour will include light food and a complimentary drink. Personal protection equipment is not required for the tour. Exact meeting location for the tour is TBD.
