About this Event
The Collider Cup is SCET's all-star showcase of promising student venture teams from the Spring 2024 semester. All are welcome to join us for the live and in-person event to watch the students pitch to win the Collider Cup! In addition, SCET will provide information about its courses and there will be networking with free food after the pitch event.
*New for Spring 2024: For the first time join us for the alumni expo...1 hour before the collider cup where scet alumni projects will be sharing the status of their venture and looking to earn an interview from Pear VC! Participants will be the judge to determine which alumni team will win. So, arrive early to cast your vote and save your seat at the event.
The event will feature pitches from SCET's Spring 2024 venture courses where students create startup ideas and develop their ideas throughout the semester. SCET courses welcome all majors to enable students to form interdisciplinary startup teams to work on creating solutions to pressing societal problems by leveraging the latest technologies such as artificial intelligence, foodtech, healthtech, and others.

After the pitch event, participants are welcome to stay for lunch and networking in Kvamme Atrium to meet student innovators, faculty, and investors.

Collider Cup XIV is a showcase and pitch competition for Berkeley SCET students. The event will award 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Most Innovative, and People's Choice awards to competing teams. Below are some partners and prizes that will be award to winners.

Pear VC Prize
The 1st place team will receive a guaranteed interview for PearX, a 14-week bootcamp with 1-on-1 support from investment partners, the talent team, and go-to-market team. The program includes a demo day and office space in SF.
