College Open Days

DISC is a partnership between Digital Advantage and SENDCode. DISC Supported Internships are for young people with SEND and who posses an EHCP or are in the process of applying for an EHCP. We are recruiting young people age 16-25 who are passionate about pursuing careers in the digital creative industries and have additional needs that we can support. DISC provides a unique approach to supporting young people into the workplace by combining years of industry expertise with the very best SEND support, all at our city centre studio.

If you like to make videos, computer games, create 3D objects or environments, digital marketing campaigns, social media posts, website design, animation, photography or any other digital creative dicipline then DISC can help you to gain the skills and experience needed for a career in industry.

Our college is unique in its offer of:

• Pre-internship (closing any core subject gaps with functional skills qualifications) - building digital skills 16-18yrs*
• Internship - specialising and perfecting skills using industry standard equipment, applications and processes. A chance to build your digital portfolio, your ticket to gaining employment. 18-25yrs*

Our open days offer you the chance to meet our interns and chat to staff about the programmes on offer. We have hour-long personal tours for up to 2 people (prospective intern + 1) which we hope will give you the chance to see if we are the right fit for you.

We Mancunians are busy bees so DISC are offering two dates:

1. Friday 17th February 10am - 4pm

2. Friday 3rd March 2023 10am - 4pm

3. Friday 17th March 10am - 4pm
