In addition to presenting world-class chamber music, Matinee Musicale’s mission includes supporting the next generation of musicians. One of the ways we do this is by asking music faculty at CSS, UMD and UWS each spring to identify twelve of their most promising students. We then invite these young musicians to perform at our annual College Awards Concert, and each receives a scholarship award from Matinee Musicale. Admission is free and the concert is open to the public. Please join us as we celebrate these talented local musicians!
