About this Event
Join us for a gentle and joy‑filled sustainable sewing session where we will come together to stitch beautiful fabric flowers, each one lovingly crafted from reclaimed and repurposed textiles, before joining them into a single communal spring wreath that celebrates creativity, connection, and the quiet optimism of the changing seasons.
This relaxed, welcoming workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced sewists alike, offering a soothing space to slow down, share stories, learn simple hand‑sewing techniques, and transform leftover fabric into something vibrant and meaningful, all while supporting low‑waste, planet‑friendly crafting.
By the end of the session, you will have contributed your own handmade bloom to a shared wreath that symbolises community, renewal, and the power of many small acts coming together to create something beautiful—an uplifting piece we will proudly display to welcome spring.
All materials are provided, though you’re warmly invited to bring any treasured scraps or textiles you’d love to give a new life. Hot drinks, warm conversation, and plenty of encouragement included.
Come and sew with us, and let’s stitch a little hope into the year ahead.
