*** ONE SPOT AVAILABLE ***Explore the process of etching aluminium plates with copper sulphate, a low-toxic etching environment. Then print 'intaglio' with an etching press and a craft press. This approach to the process makes etching at home safe and more accessible than ever before.
Day 1 will focus on experimental mark making and drawing a line-image on your plates, then proofing.
Day 2 will focus on toning one or both plates and printing.
You will leave with your etched aluminium plates, a series of prints from your plates, and handouts with information to help you keep your new-found skills going.
