About this Event
Collage Club Gvl Zine Workshop
Join us for an afternoon of collaging at Taylors Mill! Let's get creative as we explore the art of collage-making with a Zine theme for TEENS ONLY (ages 13-17 ONLY). I will me guide you through the process of creating collage zines by using magazine images, words, letters and shapes. I will share with you the wonderful world of mail art as we create a collage zine for you to share with the world! We will discuss the various avenues of mail art and how you can spread your ideas and view points with just one zine. Are you wondering what a zine is?
Wikipedia defines the word zine as a small-circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images, usually reproduced via a copy machine. Zines are the product of either a single person or of a very small group, and are popularly photocopied into physical prints for circulation.
Don't miss this opportunity to learn new techniques and express yourself through the wonderful world of collage. Grab your friends and come join us in this creative process!
