Collage Workshop: Found Narratives
What stories do we unconsciously weave in our day-to-day? How do we excavate these narratives, with or without language? Join multidisciplinary artist Chris Deng at Liz's Book Bar for a guided collage workshop where we'll collage personal narratives that may be difficult to put into words.

We’ll kick off with a brief craft lecture where we'll explore different collaging techniques and learn how to intuitively select images for the foreground, middleground, and background of our piece. Then, we'll dive into an hour and a half of hands-on collage-making where we'll build our unique, visual narratives. We'll end with a casual group share and gallery walk.

This workshop is great for both beginners and the very crafty! All magazines and tools are provided, but you're encouraged to bring your own printed photos, found material, and other personal ephemera. Please note that no printer will be available on-site.
