About this Event
Express yourself and preserve history with a collaging art class led by Dawn Tree. Tree uses botanical elements, archived photos and her imagination to depict before, during and after the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre in her graphic art history book Tulsa's Black Wall Street: A Modernized Revelation. Through research and community testimony healing began while creating collages that depict not only tragedy but silver linings.
