The University of Kansas School of Music is thrilled to announce our most popular event of the year, the annual Collage Concert on September 12th, 7:30 p.m. at the Lied Center.Collage is a stunning showcase that brings together the finest talents from across the KU School of Music in one evening. This year's event features performances from several award-winning ensembles, including the Chamber Choir, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Ensemble I. We’ll also hear from a percussion group and the KU Symphony Orchestra. As always, the grand finale will feature the renowned Marching Jayhawks, whose explosive entry has become one of the most memorable draws for attendees, guaranteed to bring them to their feet and clapping along to show their Jayhawk pride.
All proceeds from the Collage Concert benefit the Student Opportunity Fund, which provides vital financial support for School of Music students participating in competitions, presentations, and conferences across the nation and around the world. Donations can also be made online at kuendowment.org/collage.
Admission to the Collage Concert is FREE for students and children. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m., with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early to secure the best seats in the house. Tickets are available at lied.ku.edu.
