About this Event
Madison (she/ her) is a social change leader, community builder, and pastor. She is deeply passionate about nonprofit organizations and the people and groups that are making the world a better place. Madison has consulted a variety of nonprofit organizations, from civil rights groups, housing organizations, voter advocacy projects, arts groups, educational access and equity organizations, and many more. On Tuesday, August 6th, Madison will host a workshop to develop foundational leadership skills such as:
- Defining Collaborative Leadership: Learn the foundations of a collaborative leadership model where everyone's voice is heard and valued. Understand the principles that define collaborative leadership (and how leadership differs from authority) and how to create an environment where diverse perspectives thrive.
- Building a Collaborative Culture: Building on the principles of collaborative leadership, we will discuss the roadblocks to collaboration and practical strategies to overcome roadblocks such as silos, risk aversion, and lack of vision to develop a sense of shared purpose among your team members.
- Sustaining a Collaborative Culture: Based on the principles learned earlier in the session, we will explore methods for sustaining an organizational culture that supports and reinforces the principles of collaborative leadership over the long term and galvanizes the entire team to own their leadership practices and work together for impact.
If your organization can benefit from this workshop, please register and share the event!
