Come and take inspiration from the exhibition to create an image which celebrates a month in the medieval calendar year. We will use text as a starting point to weave in aspects of nature and rural activity, highlighting the changes in each season by using a specific colour palette. This session will focus on developing drawing skills through observation and imagination. This workshop is with the illustrators from the exhibition Illuminating the Year: medieval calendar lore re-imagined and is aimed at 8 to 11-year-olds.
