About the Christie

We are the largest single-site cancer centre in Europe, and the first UK centre accredited as a comprehensive cancer centre. We are part of the Manchester Cancer Research Centre working with The University of Manchester and Cancer Research UK. We are also one of the partners in the Manchester Academic Health Sciences Research Centre. For over 100 years The Christie has played a crucial role in the advancement of cancer treatment and care. Although one of Europe’s leading cancer centres we always retain our ethos of the patient being at the very heart of everything we do.

Livestream

In light of strict social distancing and restricted footfall measures at The Christie, we are excited to extend our offering of 'virtual' learning and live streaming for our forthcoming programmes.

The transition will enable educational study days to be available to all healthcare professionals, regardless of location – UK or overseas. Livestream audience participation will be enabled and encouraged, with the facility to ask questions, engage with panel discussions and take part in polls and voting.

This will be an exciting new change in our approach to education events, and will support our ethos that cancer education is still at the forefront of what we do for patient care.

Please note: one livestream ticket purchase is equivalent to one certificate and the name on the ticket will match the one on the booking registration. Further details can be found in our T&C's further down this page.
