Colin was surrounded by music from a young age, but didn’t begin writing and performing original music until after he had graduated from college. Colin picked up the guitar when he was a sophomore in high school and quickly became proficient in a variety of styles, incorporating fingerpicking, strumming and slide guitar into his music. He also began experimenting with a looping pedal, layering live guitar parts and creating intricate soundscapes during his performances.
