About this Event
Are you curious about how to use cold wax medium with oil paint? If you missed our last workshop with Sandy Kay, here’s another chance to experience this amazing way to paint with minimum commitment and maximum fun. There is a limit of 10 participants, so register now to save your seat!
In this one-day hands-on class artist Sandy Kay will demonstrate all the tools; how to blend, mix and layer the paints; how to mix paint and cold wax; and why it’s a most intriguing, joyful (and easy) way to paint! Sandy will demonstrate while you try the medium throughout the day in stages using the same materials and tools. You will leave with your very own painting and confidence in the techniques. This workshop will introduce physical texture and techniques.
Bring your own supplies (supply list provided below) or Sandy will provide everything you need for the day for a small fee ($30).
Cost:
$150 for GPAG members or $165 for non-GPAG members
