ABOUT COLCHESTER MAKERSPACE SOCIALS
Thinking of becoming a member and would like to know more? Already signed up and want to catch up with the others? Fancy looking around our fantastic space? Our Socials are free of charge, include an intro to the Makerspace and offer an opportunity to meet some of our associate artists/team.
You will also hear a short show-and-tell from our Maker of the Month. For December, it's the talented Bev Griggs. A mixed media artist for nearly 30 years, her lovingly handmade work ranges from pet inspired gift cards and tags to butterfly display frames and striking botanical prints.
This Social is part of a city-wide programme called - a new monthly festival with events throughout Colchester, celebrating its vibrant and diverse cultural scene. Venues across the city are thrown open for the community to showcase fantastic performances, workshops and interactive experiences.
ABOUT COLCHESTER MAKERSPACE
Colchester Makerspace is located at Trinity Works - just behind plant-led restaurant Patch. We provide access to ceramics and printmaking equipment, such as pottery wheels, kilns, risograph and silkscreen presses.
We also offer a wide-ranging, exciting programme of arts-and-crafts workshops and creative events to get you started. Ranging from pot-throwing to screen printing, there's an inspiring class available - for all skill levels and hobby interests.
Plus, if you want to use the facility on a more regular basis, you can access this amazing space and its equipment 24/7 via a monthly membership, starting at just £11 per month.
