Marbled paper art, also known as marbling, is a centuries-old technique used to create decorative patterns on paper or fabric. The technique involves floating colors on a liquid surface, which are then transferred onto the medium. The resulting designs can be used in bookbinding, scrapbooking, card-making, or displayed on their own. Participants will join museum staff in a beginner-friendly introduction to the world of marbled paper and have the opportunity to try two different marbling techniques. All materials and tools are provided. $25 materials fee; includes museum admission. Registration is required.
