CoKoCon is a traditional science fiction convention in Tempe, AZ. which will return to the Labor Day weekend for a sixth year in 2023.We'll be hosting guests of honor, an art show, dealers' room, gaming, filk, room parties, you name it! As with all sf/f cons, the heart of the event will be our ConSuite, which all members are welcome to visit for free food, drink and conversation.
Currently Memberships are $50.. Children (7-12) are half price. Kids in Tow (under 7) are FREE.
Membership gets you full access to all four days of the convention and to everything happening within it. Everything is free unless stated otherwise. For instance, some workshops may include a materials fee.
Memberships will also be capped at 500.

Rooms are $92/night (single and double), $102 (triple) or $112 (quad).
Key information is that parking and wifi is free; accessibility is strong; there's a 24 hour airport shuttle; early and late checkout is free; and the hotel is pet friendly. Parking also runs right up to the Conference Center.

We'll be hosting another awesome Drag Show this year, stay tuned for more details on who you might see on the roster!
Artist in Residence: Gilead will be live painting throughout the weekend in the Art Show. Pop in and out of the Art Show during the weekend to see his work progress, and while you're there, check out the various art in the show, they'll have bidder sheets set up so you can bid on your favorite items all through the weekend in their silent auction.

The Apocalypse Later Roadshow, which is a mini-film festival hosted by Hal C. F. Astell of Apocalypse Later. He'll present a curated 90 minute set of quality international short sf/f films, some of which are still working their way through the festival circuit.
On Saturday, as has become a CoKoCon tradition, we'll be hosting an ice cream social on the Patio, kindly sponsored by the Arizona Penny Dreadfuls.

At The Movies will have upcoming trailers and raffle goodies to give away.
We'll have a filk room running throughout the con, as well as a spotlight concert performed by Margaret & Kristoph.
Beth and Mike's Book Club
Michael Senft, who runs the Sci-Fridays Book Club at the Poisoned Pen,and Nebula Award®-nominated author, Beth Cato, will be leading a discussion on 'Light from Uncommon Stars' by Ryka Aoki. Read or listen to it ahead of the event or come in blind, but beware of spoilers!

Make sure to visit our ConSuite, They'll keep you supplied with yummies in between meals. You can relax with a snack, while chatting with other attendees in a comfortable setting.
