Stop by Up-Down Kansas City on Wednesday, September 25, for their monthly Coins for a Cause fundraising event benefitting Sheffield Place!
Up-Down will donate 100% of token sales generated between 3pm-10pm directly to Sheffield Place. Up-Down features over 60 classic coin-operated arcade games that are all one token per play. Tokens are 25 centers each and never expire. Must be 21+ with a valid ID to enter Up-Down.
Sheffield Place is a treatment and transitional living facility for homeless women and their children to heal from their trauma and becomes self-sufficient. The agency offers both in-patient supportive housing and aftercare/outpatient services.
Sheffield Place is committed to serving families with multiple barriers to success (mental health, addiction, and domestic violence backgrounds, low educational attainment, and felony convictions among others). Since opening its doors in 1991, the agency has served over 1,600 families.
