Coils and Charm: Hair Care Workshop for Kids 5-10

Come join us at the Audley Recreation Centre (the Studio Room) for a fun and educational event geared towards kids aged 5 to 10! At this workshop, kids will learn all about how to take care of their beautiful hair (easy to understand tips) from licensed curl stylist Natalie from Shine Curl Studio. Then kids are introduced to dining etiquette lesson led by Lorna Inspires, with full table settings (to learn proper eating protocols, manners, greetings, and body language) helping them build self-assurance in both personal care and social settings.

Our expert instructors will provide hands-on demonstrations and tips for a fun learning experience. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to learn and have fun!

HAIR PREP! Kids are to come with loose hair styles so they can learn/practice on their own hair. This workshop is all about hands-on learning and self-practice. TIP: leave out two small sections in the front (bangs or side sections). These are perfect for kids to practice on during the workshop!
ATTIRE: For our etiquette session, feel free to dress the girls up in their favorite dresses — it’ll make the experience extra fun and special! Totally optional.
