Coiled Baskets - make a lovely basket on a natural wood base

This workshop will introduce you to the relaxing and rhythmic technique of simple coiled basketry.
Beginning with a slice of natural wood, you’ll use seagrass, raffia, waxed threads and polished linen to make a small basketry form in your own creative style. Suitable for beginners!
If you would like to work with a particular colour palette, then feel free to bring a selection of your own embroidery threads.
Please bring a small pair of scissors and two large-eyed needles - one blunt-ended and one sharp.
