As a skilled artist with years of experience working with oil and acrylic colors, I am thrilled to announce my upcoming art exhibit, featuring a deeply personal collection of paintings. After taking a break from the brush, I am excited to share my journey and the unique perspective that has emerged from this hiatus.
My focus on mental health is paramount, with the exhibit providing an opportunity for reflection and communication on themes that are often underrepresented in public conversations. The themes of anxiety, depression, PTSD, and related struggles, will be explored in a nuanced and complex manner.
Each piece has been crafted to capture the intricate complexities of cognitive dissonance, a state where inconsistencies in thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes lead to a shift in behavior. Through layered canvas textures achieved with an oil and acrylic combination, the aim is to offer a deep and emotive exploration of this mental state.
Drawing on my own experiences, I seek to offer a unique perspective on the human condition, and my place in it. Through these pieces, my hope is to inspire meaningful dialogues and reflections on mental health, allowing viewers to explore their own experiences and provide a sense of hope and healing.
Breaking the conventions of form and color mixture, I take pride in the use of contrasting palettes and shades, carefully blended to create a visual language that speaks to my artistic vision. The resulting pieces offer a nuanced and complex exploration of cognitive dissonance, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the depths of the human psyche.
I am thrilled to share this work with the world, and to create a space for honest conversations and deeper connections. The exhibit offers an opportunity to engage in the emotional and psychological aspects of human existence, and to emerge with a sense of hope, understanding, and healing.
