About CoffeePlus254:
Vibrant, fruity, citrus, complex… Kenya’s coffee has a reputation for its distinct taste. Visit The Curio Lab on July 19, 2025 and taste some specialty-grade Kenyan coffee for yourself. Benita Chelagat will be representing Coffee Plus 254 and Liwani Farm. Come try the coffee, stay for the stories of the farmers meticulously cultivating the crop and stock up on bags of fresh coffee, small-batch roasted in Waltham, MA.
Coffee Plus 254 is a coffee collective working to connect Kenyan farmers to global markets, stimulate youth employment and make exceptional Kenyan coffee more accessible to consumers. The Plus 254 in our name is a nod to Kenya’s country code, and symbolizes the centrality of Kenya in our mission.
Visit their website, coffeeplus254.com and Instagram profile, @coffee_plus254, for more information.
On sale will be our Kenyan Peaberry coffee produced in Solai, Kenya by the Kuria Family. Peaberries are a developmental rarity where a single, rounded bean forms inside a coffee cherry instead of two. Denser and prized for their vibrant intensity, peaberries make up just ~5% of Kenya’s harvest. Try a cup that reflects Liwani’s rich terroir, the Kurias’ decades of dedication, and the bright, complex character that makes Kenyan coffee world-renowned.
