This month’s show features Jackie McCabe is a singer-songwriter and guitarist hailing from Delaware. With a soulful voice and a knack for crafting compelling melodies, she has been captivating audiences of all ages with her heartfelt performances. Blending elements of folk, rock, and blues, Jackie's music is both raw and refined, reflecting her unique artistic vision. Her passion for music shines through in every note.
Opening the show are the The Blarney Pilgrims, a dynamic trio dedicated to preserving and performing the rich traditions of Celtic, Irish, and Old English music. With a shared passion for folk melodies and storytelling, they weave together intricate instrumentals and heartfelt vocals to transport audiences to the misty landscapes of the British Isles. Their performances are a journey through time, celebrating the jigs, reels, and ballads that have been passed down through generations.
Some Delaware Friends of Folk events are supported in part by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. The Division promotes Delaware arts events on www.DelawareScene.com.
