About this Event

Coffee with TNLR began as a virtual series during the pandemic as an informal setting for information and conversation among community members about partner abuse and how to address it on a community level. After a two-year hiatus, we're finally back and in-person! All the same warm vibes, this time with warm drinks too. This is a relaxed, masked, and sober space for community to connect and discuss our mission to end partner abuse.

Together on December 6th, we will be looking at examples from popular queer media and have an open, judgement-free discussion about communication, boundaries, and self-care in relationships of all kinds.

Support our Work- Go Wild Us!

You’ve no doubt seen the headlines and felt the impact. On 6/4/2025 Marjorie Taylor Greene led a hearing that attacked non-profits entitled “NGOs Gone Wild,” and since January, the Trump Administration has continued to tighten restrictions on federal funding. For the last 36 years as an “NGO gone wild,” The Network/La Red has remained steadfast in our mission thanks to folks like you, but our communities – and our community organizations – are under attack.

Here’s the hard truth: We gave up $150,000 in federal funds – more than a third of our space – for our Transitional Housing Program and could lose even more because we refuse to comply with anti-trans, anti-immigrant, and anti-DEI federal executive orders. We refuse to betray our communities and fundamentally change who we serve, our programs, and our staff. Abuse is abuse, and appeasing abusers is not a choice.

At The Network/La Red, our work is fundamentally rooted in the idea that safety can be built when survivors come together to support survivors, when community comes together to support community. As we face of significant defunding, we will share ways community can step up and help us secure our programming and services.
