About this Event
Join us for a Sunday morning of building, creating, and focused work at the State Library Victoria.
Whether you’re a developer, designer, writer, job seeker, or a hobby, this is a space to get out of the house and work alongside other makers. We are a community of creators who believe in the power of "working alone, together."
What to expect:
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Focused Co-working. Bring your laptop or project. We’ll be set up in the collaborative zone of Hansen Hall. You can stay for the full session, pop in for an hour, or wander off to the quieter reading rooms if you need deep silence.
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Mini-Workshop. This week, we are heading into one of the library's private rooms for a deep dive into Building Code Prototypes with AI. We'll explore AI tooling, templates, and frameworks to move from idea to MVP faster. (Note: Workshop space is limited to 4-8 people due to room capacity, Google Meet link can be provided for people wanting to join remotely).
Community & Connection: Chatting is optional! We use a "headphones on" culture for focus, but the first and last 15 minutes are great for bouncing ideas and meeting fellow makers.
What to bring:
- Your laptop (charged! though floor power points are available).
- Your current project or an idea you want to start.
- A set of headphones.
