Good Friday Afternoon everyone. Coffee shops have been notoriously famous for planning, organizing, and executing many of histories greatest moments in the US and abroad.
Hope and I would like to invite our wonderful community to participate in a weekly meeting maybe 6pm Fridays? Let us know your thoughts. We would love to make this a weekly event say 6pm to 8pm
We are very serious about starting an after hours “coffee talk” town hall type meeting at the shop.
Anyone is welcome until we fill up. This will be laid back and informal.
Free drip coffee, cookies, and conversation about topics affecting our community. Politics will probably come up, just FYI, our intention is to bring people in our community together to find ways and hopefully influence our representatives to make better choices for us. Not tear it apart because we don’t all see eye to eye on everything.
I’m going to ask mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird, and district representatives (Senate, Congress) Pete Ricketts, Mike Flood, etc to attend for a Q&A but we will see if they are too busy. Maybe the next meeting we cab try and get other lical, state, and federal officials involved to answer pur questions
If you are interested, please respond under comments. We will post again once we hear from you! Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully help us all see a clear path forward with prices going up and so much future uncertainty. We all need to get involved! Hopefully we can count on some of you to share your thoughts. Thank you for supporting our business and the people that work to make it work. We really appreciate each and every one of you!
