About this Event

Join us at Conduit Orlando for a guided coffee cupping led by Nate, our master roaster with 10+ years of experience, and Peter, a coffee farmer and importer from Kenya. You'll taste different single-origin coffees, learn about roasting and brewing, and trace the story of your cup back to the farm. It’s hands-on, immersive, and packed with flavor.

Meet Your Hosts – Peter & Nate

I’m Peter Kuria, and I was born into coffee. I grew up on my family’s farm in the lush highlands of Solai, Kenya, where coffee isn’t just a crop, it’s a way of life. Today, I’m the founder of Solai Coffee, importing high-quality Kenyan beans directly from farmers I know and trust. I’m also a novice roaster, barista, and coffee cupper, and I love sharing the stories, flavors, and traditions that make every cup meaningful.

I’m Nate, owner, and master roaster at Credo Coffee Roasters here in Orlando. I’ve been in the specialty coffee industry for over a decade, building Credo into one of Central Florida’s most respected roasteries. My passion is roasting coffee that brings out the unique character of each bean, and helping people discover how different origins, roast profiles, and brewing methods can transform their coffee experience.

Together, we’ll take you on an unforgettable journey from farm to cup. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes walk through the roastery, see the roasting process in action, and learn professional cupping techniques to taste coffee like a pro. I’ll share what life is like as a Kenyan coffee farmer and how your cup connects to farming communities, while Nate guides you through the craft of roasting and flavor profiling.

Whether you’re just starting your coffee journey or you’ve been brewing for years, you’ll leave with a deeper appreciation for what’s in your cup—and the people behind it.
