This is your chance! Join us and ask Juanita Traughber, MBA, APR, everything you want to know about accreditation in public relations. Juanita is co-chair of PRSA Nashville's Accreditation Committee and, since becoming accredited in 2023, has helped others attain this prestigious accolade. Will you be next?

Meet Your Host:

Juanita Traughber, MBA, APR is PRSA Nashville's Accreditation Committee co-chair. She is the director of marketing and communications at University School of Nashville. In 2023, the National School Public Relations Association named her among the Top 35 Under 35 and the Nashville Business Journal recognized her as a Woman of Influence in the category for Inspiration and Mentors. That year she also earned Accreditation in Public Relations and a national NSPRA Golden Achievement Award for outstanding, strategic work in all aspects of school public relations, communication, marketing, and engagement.

Juanita is a past president of PRSA Nashville and has earned nine PRSA Parthenon Awards, the chapter's Mercury Award for emerging leaders, and the Olympus Award for service. Her career began as a journalist for The Associated Press and several daily newspapers, and she was a Pulitzer finalist in 2011. She earned her MBA at Belmont University and holds bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and International Affairs from the University of Georgia.
