Come to Clover Downtown Crossing, eat a warm apple cider donut, and meet Michael, Kiki, and Ruby, the DTX team at CLover. They will be comparing beans from two diffrent single estate roasters, from two different rejions, they will be pouring all morning.
Roasters:
Little Wolf Coffee, founded in 2016 in Ipswich, MA, was born from Chris and Melissa's passion for coffee and their Siberian Husky, River. After falling in love with specialty coffee in Seattle, Chris began home roasting before transitioning to a commercial setup. The company focuses on roasting light to medium coffees that highlight their natural flavors, avoiding artificial manipulation. They prioritize community and believe a great coffee experience is enhanced by sharing it with others, aiming to be approachable and inclusive for both seasoned and new coffee enthusiasts.
Tandem Coffee, In 2012, Will and Kathleen Pratt, with extensive coffee experience in various cities, established Tandem Coffee Roasters in Portland, Maine, setting up a cozy café and roastery. By 2014, they expanded with Tandem Coffee + Bakery in the West End. Their longtime friend Briana Holt, a skilled baker and recent James Beard nominee, joined the venture. Tandem offers a rotating selection of single-origin coffees and seasonal blends, emphasizing direct sourcing and partnerships with small growers and specialty importers.
