Children’s Hope Alliance was founded in 1891 and few out of an orphanage era when communities like Barium Springs and Grandfather Home provided safe refuge for children in need. Today, CHA continues their mission to provide hope, health and healing for generations, serving children and families from 63 North Carolina counties.
CHA is a nonprofit organization staffed with trauma experts and child wellbeing professionals. Their experts walk alongside children and families to help them build a safe and healthy homelife. Sometimes their programs operate in therapy offices, but most often their experts work inside a family’s home. When it’s not safe for a child to live at home, their programs move with that child to a safer location like a foster or kinship home.

Let’s help youth create healthy habits by providing essential hygiene items that promote confidence and positive self-image. Bring items from one of the lists below, we’ll have the totes available to fill at the Coffee Connection. Thank you, in advance, for your support of this worthy cause.
