ALL HANDS ON CLAY!Enjoy the therapeutic experience of creating a masterpiece together! Early childhood research has shown that parental-child bonding will be stimulated through visual and tactile activities. As the clay takes shape under both your hands, a profound connection is forged between parent and child. The connection is beyond art. The bond formed during pottery making extends beyond the pottery studio. The shared experience becomes a reference point for future interactions, deepening the emotional connection between parent and child. In this class, projects will be geared a little more towards the adults, the design a collabration, and little helpers will assist by rolling snakes (coils), scratching and adding slip and smooshing clay together. Projects completed in class: chicken, slab cup, mushroom, rattles and more! Groups will spend 3 classes making projects and will paint their masterpieces on class 4. Fired work will be ready for Pick Up 1 month later Grab your cup of Java, your child and let's get Messy!
